Though lifestyle measures have proven efficacy in risk reduction for type 2 diabetes
mellitus (T2DM), ensuring adherence at mass scale remains a challenge. In this context,
Daniela et al.’s study [

], dietitian-led education session targeting healthy eating and active living as strategies
for weight reduction, is interesting. We discuss some key issues, to facilitate broader
